British Air Force report, it had successfully tested a new air defense system land Land Ceptor. Missile launch was carried out on the test track, owned by the Swedish Ministry of Defense. Software company says the system, that the complex is designed to detect and intercept air targets at ranges from one to twenty five kilometers. The complex consists of two cars and support a mobile unit on the chassis MAN HX77 8x8. Anti-aircraft system was Giraffe radar from the Swedish Saab and the control system of the Israeli Rafael. The deployment of the complex is given to the 20 minutes. According to the specs, complex can destroy 8 targets simultaneously.
At the request of the British Ministry of Defense, air defense system is being developed for the protection of British troops from air attack. The adoption of SAM into service is planned for 2020 year.
