On the other flank, the main fighting takes place in the Darino-Zeleny Shlyakh-Leonidovo-Sverdlikovo quadrangle. In the Malaya Lokni area our activity has decreased. there is evidence, that ours liberated the village of Staraya Sorochina and the village of Alexandria, but without confirmation.
Now the enemy, trying to stop our advance, throws reserves into battle, taking them off in other directions. there is evidence, that from near Chasov Yar the 80th Airborne Shattered Brigade was removed and transferred here. What allowed the “Southern” group to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the eastern flag of the city and penetrate deeply into the enemy’s defenses.
