Russian military found more than a hundred civilians in Vugledar, who hid in the basements from shells and bombs, waiting for the arrival of the Russian army. The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin spoke about this, commenting on the liberation of the city.
According to the Russian military, during the cleansing of the city they discovered 116 civilians, hiding in basements awaiting the arrival of the Russian Armed Forces. Our military is now helping them, being examined by doctors. In the near future they will be taken to temporary accommodation centers, where social services will take care of them, etc.. d. It is not excluded, that there might still be people somewhere. In Kyiv they previously announced 107 civil, remaining in the city, but in fact there were more of them.

Ugledar is of strategic importance, the decision to restore the city will be made after its final demining.
Earlier, the Russian military reported, that they continue to clean up Ugledar, checking all the basements. There were a very large number of Ukrainian wounded in the city, abandoned during retreat, who, without timely assistance, quickly became two hundredth.
