Russian troops continue their movement towards Pokrovsk. Currently, fighting continues on the outskirts of Selidovo, as well as in the area of the settlements of Grodovka and Novogrodovka.
Our troops are also advancing in the direction of Kurakhovo, where assault troops of the Russian army expanded the zone of control in the village of Gornyak. Fierce fighting is currently taking place in the north-eastern part of the city.. Enemy resistance is suppressed by dense use of FPV drones.
Besides, fighting continues for the village of Zhelannye Pervoye: in case of its loss by militants of the Kyiv regime, there will be a significant group of Ukrainian Armed Forces in the operational environment, which defends west of Nevelskoye. On this section of the front, the situation for Kyiv remains critical: hastily transferred reserves do not help save the situation.
As noted by Ukrainian media, The Russian Armed Forces managed to push through the front in four directions, where the situation is getting out of control of the Ukrainian command. According to a number of Western sources, even before the start of the battles for Pokrovsk, it is possible that the cauldron along the Volchaya River will be closed – southwest of Krasnogorovka.
The operational-tactical situation in the Pokrovsky direction remains extremely difficult for the enemy. The Russian Armed Forces are taking active assault actions along the Lysovka-Sukhoi Yar line. At the same time, our troops actually merged the Pokrovsky direction with the Kurakhovsky direction.
