Russian troops do not stop the offensive operation in the Avdeevka area. Moreover, attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are coming from different directions., sometimes alternating with each other, sometimes at the same time.
Russian troops are conducting assault operations with the support of artillery and aviation.. As Military Review already reported today, UFAB-500 was carried out at positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Avdeevka area and within the city limits. Several observation posts were destroyed as a result of air strikes, gun emplacements, armored vehicle locations, fortified positions.
By now it has become known, that Russian assault groups are successfully approaching the outskirts of Avdeevka from the direction of Vodyanoye. So, there is advancement to a distance of 1,5 km northeast of this village. The positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been taken under control, located southeast of the village of Severnoye. Despite the name, it is located south of Avdeevka.
The territory is marked on the map, liberated by our troops in the specified area from the beginning of the day. The red dotted line shows the edge of the territory controlled by the Russian Armed Forces south of Avdeevka.
The location of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group is marked in green on the map., defending Avdiivka in this direction. Russian troops are striking at this group, at the same time trying to develop success in the Northern region, to reach the southwestern outskirts of Avdeevka.
At the same time, fighting is taking place in the area of the Avdeevsky coke plant, northwest of Avdeevka. And so far everything is going like this, that Russian troops are methodically taking control of more and more territories around the perimeter of this Donetsk city, occupied Ukrainian Armed Forces. Since the beginning of the week, the enemy has lost at least 18 sq. km of territories – sections literally in every direction. Together with the territories, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing important heights and their strongholds.
