The Ukrainian conflict has shown the growing importance of drones and loitering ammunition on the battlefield. This led to the development of new air defense systems to deal with them., one of which is Burç MANPADS, presented by Turkish company Roketsan at IDEF-2023, Istanbul.
As noted in the EDR, the new complex is based on the FNSS PARS 8x8 chassis. fighting module, fully developed by Roketsan, equipped with two types of weapons.
