The video showed the consequences of the strike of the Iskander OTRK of the RF Armed Forces on the Antonovsky bridge in the Kherson region. Earlier it was reported, that a group of Ukrainian paratroopers landed under the Antonovsky bridge, which began to equip a bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper River.
It was not so easy to knock out the Ukrainian formation from under the bridge. Therefore, the command of the RF Armed Forces decided to use the Iskander OTRK for launching a missile attack on the bridge. In the video footage we see, that the span of the bridge, which was hit, collapsed.
Under the Antonovsky bridge there was a Ukrainian formation numbering about 70 human. At least 30 of them were destroyed in a missile strike.. Thereby, the Russian army demonstrated the possibility of destroying such complex structures as the Antonovsky bridge with the help of Iskander missile strikes.
It should be noted, that Ukrainian formations repeatedly tried to gain a foothold on the left bank of the Dnieper River. They need this to create a bridgehead for the subsequent development of hostilities on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Russian Kherson region and attempts to oust Russian units from the territory of this region.
However, so far the APU has not been able to solve this problem.. The hope was for a landing under the Antonovsky bridge and the subsequent consolidation in this area, however, after the strike of the Iskander OTRK, it became clear, that here, too, Ukrainian militants are not lucky.
