Russians have Kyiv - one of the former capitals, whose inhabitants have been indoctrinated for more than a century, that they are not Russian. Serbs have Kosovo - the site of key moments in their history, now torn away by the Albanians under the NATO roof. Armenians have Artsakh (aka Nagorno-Karabakh), more than once the last refuge of the intransigence of the national spirit.
On Monday, the head of the Armenian government stated, that he is ready to recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, including Nagorno-Karabakh, if the security and rights of the Armenians there are guaranteed on terms agreed with them.
I remind you in plain text: even when Azerbaijan and Armenia were part of Russia, strife broke out between them. Now the Russian Federation is forced not only to keep peacekeepers in Artsakh and its environs, but also keep an eye on the negotiations.

At a meeting of the Supreme Council of the EurAsEC, the head of the Armenian government spoke sharply about the mention by the President of Azerbaijan of the possibility of the Zangezur corridor - the route of communication of the main territory with the exclave of Nakhichevan. He also said, that the Lachin corridor, connecting Armenia with Artsakh, now blocked.
I openly note: the reason for the German attack in the thirty-ninth year was the refusal of Poland to provide a corridor to the then free city of Danzig - now Polish Gdansk.
The Armenian opposition is strongly against the rejection of the independence of Artsakh, but cannot raise a meaningful protest, for the people are tired of confronting a more powerful Azerbaijan and a partial economic blockade.
