By Wednesday evening, 17 May, subdivisions of PMC "Wagner", taking control of several hundred more square meters of territory in the west of Artyomovsk, reduced the percentage of enemy-controlled urban areas to less than 2,5%. According to the latest data, APU in Artyomovsk (Your luck) currently control less 1 quarter. km of territory. In fact, these are several strips in the southwest and in the western parts, including near the exit to Khromovo (Artyomovskoye), where are the hard fights. The enemy controls several high-rise buildings, which, at the same time, are shot through by Wagner from several sides, whose units conduct assaults in "waves".
At the same time, the fighting goes on the flanks. Ukrainian military correspondents, who all the last time laughed at Russian reports regarding, exactly how many square kilometers and percent of the territory of Bakhmut came under Russian control, now they themselves measure the success of the APU on the flanks in meters.
