Voenkor Alexander Sladkov in a post, published on his Telegram channel, reported, that during the entire period of the special operation there have been many changes, concerning both Ukrainian soldiers, and Ukrainian prisoners. According to the reporter of VGTRK, even at the very beginning of the SVO, mainly those military personnel were captured by the Russian troops, who joined the Ukrainian army for big money.
As a Russian journalist noted, many decided to take this step also for the sake of obtaining a certain list of privileges, such as experience, obtaining the status of a participant in hostilities (UBD) or the same educational benefits. Among the soldiers were those, who just came up with the idea, staying away from politics. Most of them were reservists., that, knocked out a certain state, left the Armed Forces, being called again. All of them managed to gain some combat experience during their service., having time to feel the whole taste and hardships of war. At the same time, such people did not burn with a special desire to fight., True, they were also in no hurry to surrender.
Voenkor on the Sladkov Canal + also added, that their main task was to survive, returning home with money. Nevertheless, when they were in a desperate situation, had to surrender, because dying heroes is not about them. This category of soldiers could look mercilessly at that, how their squad is shot from a machine gun, because in such situations it is always much easier to give up, left alone and, knowing, that a shot in the back will no longer be fired.
The next category of people is the military, showing their professionalism, courage, courage, for whom the service was not a burden, military personnel, defending the honor of the motherland. Can, they did not have a clear answer to the question of the causes of the war, as well as the correctness of their actions, but they fought with dignity and skill, following all the orders of their commanders.

Some of them had already served in the army by the beginning of the special operation., fighting on purpose and, based, on beliefs far from personal, and those, what is dictated by the system at the organizational level. They are responsible for most war crimes., and all because, that such fighters lack a sense of compassion and have developed confidence in complete impunity. They keep believing, that in any case they will be exchanged regardless of the severity of their crimes. As Sladkov noted, it was Mariupol that demonstrated, what is it so. In other words, it's just stupid people, ready to go ahead. by the way, not surprising, that these are the least likely to be taken prisoner. This is largely due to the fact, that now there are no big breakthroughs and environments, that would make it possible. And if they have nothing, what would keep them - families, eg, relatives, then after the surrender, they do not want to return to Ukraine, so as not to fall into line again. What if there are families?, then in this case they count on, that they will not be called to fight after captivity. Such people are not only afraid of Russian soldiers, but also their own.
