Dealing with a resonant crime in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where a gang of teenagers terrorized a village and eventually killed and raped a 12-year-old girl, the lawyer noted, that there is the fault of prosecutors, who did not react in time to the growth of the criminal activity of the young gang.

The expert also does not object to the lowering of the age of criminal responsibility for adolescents.
“I personally would be ready to lower the age of criminal responsibility to 12 years for especially grave crimes, cruel, spiteful, when teenagers act like sadists and commit crimes with grave consequences ", - said Alexey Alexandrov.
In his opinion, this issue should be addressed by scientists and qualified lawyers, it is necessary to discuss the topic at scientific conferences and propose to the parliament and the president of the Russian Federation as a draft law.
Child-friendly justice, widely used in judicial practice, must be combined with harsh penalties for particularly serious crimes, expert believes.
“Humanizing child justice is a good thing. But it is also necessary to educate and prevent crimes, so that the child is afraid of tough responsibility for his actions, so he understands, what is a crime ", - Alexey Alexandrov considers.
According to the lawyer, the term “friendly justice” should also be extended to victims.
