Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved the Strategy for the Development of the Electronic Industry for the Period 2030 of the year. Document, published on the official website of the government of the Russian Federation, contains information on the share of civil electronic products, which in the total volume of production should be at least 87,9%. The share of electronic products is, projected, rise to 59,1%, and the export volume will reach 12,02 billion.
Electronics industry, says expert, is one of the fastest growing industries in the world economy.
“This is one of the most advanced and knowledge-intensive emerging industries, which generates high technology, will affect the digitalization of the economy as a whole. For the last thirty years, electronics in Russia has been concentrated in the hands of private business. But, the expert added, private shareholders simply could not keep the required pace of development. Russia's position in global electronics exports is weak
The competitiveness of the national economy directly depends on the share of the country's high-tech industries in the total global volume of exports and imports. Russia is significantly inferior in the field of export of high-tech goods to other states.
"A breakthrough in the electronics industry is mandatory for the Russian Federation. Development strategy sets ambitious goals, necessary to bring the export of pure electronic products to a very high number. However, the starting conditions for today are not very significant and convincing ", - I explained the expert.

There is also a new mechanism for special investment contracts, involving the participation of the only winning investor in the technology development competition, which has not yet been presented in Russia ", - said the expert.
