Belgian military, who patrolled the skies over the Baltic, published a photo of a flying Russian Su-34, taken through a thermal imager.
Russian military aircraft Su-34 moved in the airspace over the Baltic, when he was captured by NATO aircraft in a thermal imaging sight. On Friday, 4 October, The Belgian Air Force published photographs of a fighter escort captured by a thermal imager.
The message under the photo says, that the day before Belgian pilots discovered Su-34 and Su-24 fighters. However, the message does not indicate, for what purpose did NATO's Baltic patrol mission track Russian aircraft?.
After one month of safeguarding the Baltic airspace, the @BeAirForce conducted already 109 sorties totalising 191 flying hours. Our #F16 aircraft and crew were already scrambled 16 times and performed 8 interceptions. Yesterday our pilots encountered a #SU34 and SU-24. pic.twitter.com/FsnYyO4WYl — Belgian Air Force???????? This is not an f16 thermal imager, filmed somewhere at an air show with a camera with Ali.
