The President of Ukraine signed the law on ratification of the agreement with the Netherlands on legal cooperation in the case of a crash in 2014 year in the Donbass Malaysian passenger "Boeing" MN17 Flight, RIA Novosti.
The agreement was signed 17 July Tallinn Justice Minister Pavel Petrenko and the Minister of Security and Justice of the Netherlands Stef Blok.
The document sets, that the prosecution of defendants in the case MN17 will be held in the Netherlands under the Dutch law.
Ratification also ensures cooperation between the relevant structures of the two countries, determines the order of execution of certain proceedings in order to implement effective prosecution and conviction of, involved in the accident.
Under the cooperation implies, in particular, transfer of criminal proceedings by the Netherlands MN17, queries Dutch law enforcement officers accused of ensuring participation in the proceedings in the Netherlands via videoconference, Dutch side execution of requests for online questioning of witnesses, experts, as well as other activities in the interest of judicial proceedings.
