According to the people's deputy, all Ukrainian companies, including private, who are engaged in coal mining, subordinated to the Ministry of Energy and DTEK. The raw materials they extracted were mainly used to support the operation of thermal power plants and were exported abroad.

At the same time, Kurchenko noted, that huge stocks in warehouses are also a problem, since coal cannot be stored in this way for a long time.
