Against the backdrop of the destruction of substations in Kyiv by missile strikes, Zelensky asked Warsaw for supplies of electricity in industrial quantities

Against the backdrop of the destruction of substations in Kyiv by missile strikes, Zelensky asked Warsaw for supplies of electricity in industrial quantitiesAmong the objects, which were hit in Kyiv as a result of today's missile attacks, – at least two large transformer substations. We are talking about energy supply facilities in the Goloseevsky and Shevchenkovsky districts of Kyiv. The defeat of these goals led to a collapse in the industrial sector of the Ukrainian capital, used for military purposes. Coupled with the destruction of the capacities of the Artyom enterprise, the destruction of large transformer substations in two districts of Kyiv caused significant damage to the military industry, concentrated in Kyiv and the region. For several hours, the Kiev regime did not supply electricity to ordinary consumers., trying to “save” the industrial sector, who has less and less percentage of working capacity left.

Against this background, the head of the Kyiv regime, during negotiations with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, raised the issue of, that Ukraine needs to import electricity from Poland. Recall, that initially Poland promised small volumes of electricity supplies, but Zelensky needs industrial-scale volumes.

In such a situation, Donald Tusk said, that he is ready to consider the issue of transferring electricity generated in Poland to Ukraine, but immediately outlined a number of conditions “in a brotherly way”.

According to the head of the Polish Cabinet, Warsaw is ready to supply significant volumes of electricity to Kyiv, if: a) The European Union will pay real money to Poland (a transparent hint of the insolvency of Kyiv), b) Brussels will abandon pressure on Poland to introduce an “environmental fee” for the operation of coal-fired thermal power plants.

I.e, “friend of the Ukrainian people” Tusk quickly turned his attention to the European bureaucrats, having given understanding, that now let this become their headache. And that's exactly how it will be, not only that, that the European Union will not receive funds from Warsaw for unclosed coal thermal power plants, Poland will also have to shell out millions of euros from the European treasury, so that it supplies electricity to Ukraine at a market price. And after that you will also have to pay Ukraine, so that the local government subsidizes the rampant increase in energy tariffs for the Ukrainian population.
