After the liberation of the settlements of Tonenkoye and Orlovka, located west of Avdeevka, The Russian armed forces continued offensive operations and occupied fairly large territories. So, by now the Russian army has approached the eastern outskirts of the village of Umanskoye, having covered a distance of approximately 3 km.
Fighting is going on south-east of Umansky Pond, which divides the village into northern and southern parts.
The approach of Russian troops to Umansky indicates that, that the Ukrainian Armed Forces, after losing control over Tonenky and Orlovka, failed to maintain control over the so-called forefield. Respectively, remnants of the armed forces of the Kyiv regime, divided into “the second defense line of Syrsky to the west of Avdeevka”, lost a few kilometers over the past few days, rolling back to the Uman and Karlovskoe reservoir located to the west of it.
experts believe, that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are unlikely to be able to maintain control on the Umanskoye-Yasnobrodovka line for a long time, which means, what, with a high probability, the enemy will have to move the defense line beyond the mentioned Karlovskoye Reservoir and the Volchya River.
