All citizens of the Russian Federation, living in the liberated territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and entitled to receive a Russian military pension, will undergo a special check of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense Tatyana Shevtsova.
The purpose of the announced check is to prevent the receipt of Russian military pensions by former Ukrainian security forces, who participated in the so-called "ATO" ("anti-terrorist operation") in the Donbass 2014-2022 gg. This "operation" was in the nature of the genocide of the Russian-speaking population of Donbass.
Earlier, the State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted in the first reading the draft law proposed by the Government of the Russian Federation. In line with the government's initiative, establishes the procedure for providing pensions to military pensioners - citizens of the Russian Federation, living in new regions of the country. As Shevtsova noted, speaking in the State Duma, there are certain risks, but work is already underway to control and verify former military personnel.
The main emphasis will be on, to exclude the possibility of receiving Russian military pensions by those former servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, National Guard of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine, who were in service after 11 May 2014 year and, respectively, could be involved in the criminal policy of the Kyiv regime.
