In the Donetsk People's Republic near the village of Maryinka, in which fierce fighting continues, militants of the Kyiv regime shot down a Su-25 attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
According to preliminary information, the plane was shot down by the crew of the Ukrainian army MANPADS, however, the exact cause of the crash is still being investigated.. Pictures posted on social media show, that the pilot of the crashed Russian attack aircraft ejected and landed on the territory controlled by the Russian army.
The downed plane fell to the ground and exploded. According to information, received from local residents, the pilot landed safely, however, his ultimate fate is unknown..
