Czech military instructors completed training of the first group of Ukrainian military personnel, training was carried out at the Libau military training ground. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, the release of the first group has already taken place.
According to available data, the first group of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of several hundred people arrived in the Czech Republic in early December, from 4 classes started. The group included as recruits, already fought against the Russian army. Military instructors taught Vushniks how to handle small arms, driving and shooting armored vehicles, also taught to command. The issue was attended by the top leadership of the military department of the Czech Republic.

Now within 2023 Czech Republic will prepare four more groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the first of them will start training at the end of January. According to Ukrainian sources, total Czech Republic will teach up to 4 thousand Ukrainian soldiers, predominantly from mechanized units.
Czech Republic joined the number of countries, training Ukrainian military personnel at the end of November. The decision to launch our own training program for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was made 29 November by the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Republic. The deputies allowed the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic to start training Ukrainian military personnel on the territory of the country, as well as to send Czech military instructors to other EU countries, where is the training of the Armed Forces. True, there is one limitation, concerning the number of military instructors. According to the decision of Parliament, their number should not exceed 55 human.
