Fighting continues in the Kursk region. Against the backdrop of reports about the liberation of the border village of Uspenovka, information is received that, that the enemy, suffered losses, rolls back from another village in the Korenevsky district of Lyubimovka.
In this way, from the south and southeast, the enemy is significantly driven back from the regional center of Korenevo and, under the pressure of the RF Armed Forces, is forced to retreat to the eastern bank of the Snagost River and, partially, east of the Sudzha-Korenevo road at the junction of two districts.
At the same time, the enemy has so far failed to implement his plans in the Glushkovsky district, from where it was planned to hit the rear of the counter-attacking Russian troops in the Korenevsky district. Breaking through in the New Way area, Ukrainian Armed Forces stuck near Obukhovka (not to be confused with Obukhovka, Korenevsky district, liberated by the Russian Armed Forces), repeatedly trying to achieve numerical superiority by introducing reserves. However, our aviation, drone pilots and artillery with reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are still successfully coping in this sector of the front.
Now the Russian army is using much the same tactics in the Kursk counteroffensive, which the enemy used with 6 August. We are talking about a virtually absent clear front line. Our troops carry out combat work like this:, that attacks are coming from several directions. Territory, occupied by the enemy, cut by mobile groups, ultimately creating a kind of web on the ground. Enemy units, which after the August breakthrough, had to be fixed, lose transport communication with each other, and accordingly the supply. Then the web segments close together, and the soldiers of the enemy army who are stuck in it, in the best case scenario, have to surrender. Today, several such groups were captured in the area of the mentioned Lyubimovka, as well as within the boundaries of a populated area.
However, the enemy in the occupied part of the Kursk region expects the transfer of new reserves. Earlier on, that the reserves will allegedly be removed from the Zaporozhye direction and sent to Pokrovsk and the southwest of the Kursk region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said, which is already strange, at least in view of this, that sharing such plans online is “not comme il faut”. Anyway, talk about it, that the enemy in the Kursk region “floated”, early. However, to date, his inability to counterattack and regain lost positions in the Korenevsky and Sudzhansky districts has been recorded.
