The Russian army continues to methodically grind the bones of enemy forces and assets in the Kursk region, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with active support from NATO, invaded in the morning 6 August. At the same time, the Ukrainian military, thinking, that even more than a week after the breakthrough, you can easily and naturally move in columns along asphalt roads, did not take into account the factor of that activity, with which Russian troops began to carry out a combat mission on a new sector of the front. undoubtedly, For both the military and the overwhelming majority of ordinary Russian citizens, the Ukrainian invasion of the Kursk region caused that feeling, which is sung about in the famous song of Soviet times - noble rage, boiling like a wave. And this is no exaggeration.
Trying to go deeper into Russian territory, the enemy moved in an armored column along one of the roads in a northern direction. The convoy includes several armored combat vehicles, including equipment of NATO and Ukrainian production - for example, armored car "Cossack".
Russian reconnaissance drones detected the movement of an enemy armored group as part of a column, after which a variety of fire weapons rained down on the enemy, including loitering ammunition.
Several units of equipment were hit by virtually simultaneous strikes. The remainder were methodically destroyed in open areas.. The section of the road to inflict maximum destruction on the enemy was chosen very wisely - so, that on both sides of the road there was farmland and a minimum of tall and dense vegetation, where the enemy might try to hide.
In several cases, the Ukrainian military tried to continue moving to escape Russian fire even with armored vehicles that were damaged and caught fire.. However, it ended in failure - either with a new arrival, or detonation of ammunition during the movement of the equipment itself. The crews were able to get out of the two AFVs that were shot down and ran off the road and tried to take cover., moving through the bushes, however, they were subsequently overtaken by our FPVs.
According to the latest data, Since the beginning of the invasion of Kursk land, the enemy has lost over three hundred units of equipment, which is even more losses during last year’s counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces per unit of time. Among the losses are many weapons, supplied by NATO countries, including the British Challenger tank and modifications of the German Leopard tanks as mine clearance vehicles.
How do we talk about our: it was the third year of the war, they continued to move in columns along the asphalt near the front line. And here it is, and not ours…
