Russian troops continue to build on their success in the Pokrovsky direction. Over the past 24 hours, our troops, as already reported, took control of about a third of the territory of the town of Grodovka and at the same time significant areas of territory to the north and northeast of this settlement.
Territories up to the bed of the Kazenny Torets River came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
The total area of the territory that came under the control of the Russian army within Grodovka and its environs amounted to at least 30 square kilometers.
Together with the eastern part of Grodovka, the Russian Armed Forces liberated the settlement of Sviridonovka, knocked out the enemy from Novotoretsky (its western part is still in the gray zone). At the moment, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are no longer in Novotoretsky, the enemy retreats to the west.
Recall, that Russian troops are also advancing in the Zhelanny area, which was also transferred under the control of the RF Armed Forces. There was an opportunity to cut the road to Karlovka, creating big problems for the Ukrainian garrison in this locality, located on the shore of the reservoir.
