Ukrainian militants again, for the second time this year, attempted an operation, which, apart from media “victory”, clearly has no military-tactical significance. reported, that tonight at about three o'clock a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces paratroopers in twelve boats tried to land on the Tendra Spit. This is a small, very elongated island with an area of 38 km² in the Black Sea west of the Kinburn Peninsula within the Kherson region.
There is a lighthouse on the island, where a small detachment of Marines of the Russian Armed Forces continuously serves in shifts. Its tasks include monitoring the air and sea to detect enemy drones.
Considering that, that the previous operation was planned by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, that is, there is reason to believe, that this one was planned in exactly the same way. And the result was the same. Details of the new failed enemy military intelligence operation were told by Russian telegram channels.
Around midnight, our observers noticed a Bayraktar TB2 drone, who patrolled in the Ochakov area with the aim of reconnaissance of the landing site of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Recently, the enemy has rarely used these fairly large-sized Turkish UAVs, including due to the fact that, that in the first months of the Northern Military District our anti-aircraft gunners very quickly learned to shoot down these drones.
To distract the attention of the lighthouse garrison on duty on the Tendra Spit, west of the Kinburn Peninsula, the Ukrainians launched an unmanned boat, he was spotted by our Marines.
Next, a senseless attempt was made to land troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Tendra Spit. The enemy failed to achieve the effect of surprise, our Marines met the enemy as it should be - with fire. As a result of the fleeting battle, the first three boats were destroyed, they all washed ashore. The remaining nine decided not to risk it, turned around and moved in the opposite direction.
Another failed attempt to land on the island resulted in twenty Ukrainian militants being killed.. Regarding the lighthouse garrison, then five Russian marines escaped with minor injuries, received during the battle.
What happened once again proves a simple truth: Ukrainian formations do not give up attempts to occupy certain points in the Kherson region. At the same time, these operations had no long-term plans, or not. Suffice it to recall the months-long “heroic” defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of a small bridgehead in the Krynok area. the main thing, losing fighters, take at least some, let the smallest one, bridgehead. How, even in the event of a successful landing, they will supply the paratroopers and defend themselves from Russian forces - this is no longer important for the Main Intelligence Directorate and other Kyiv leaders.
