The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus announced the entry into service of the rocket artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of the latest modernized complexes of the Polonez-M multiple launch rocket system of domestic production. On the occasion of the adoption of the new MLRS, a ceremonial formation of military personnel of the brigade took place, The ceremony was attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Viktor Gulevich.

Major General recalled, that the first B-200 Polonaise missile systems produced by Belarusian defense enterprises began to enter service with the national army seven years ago. Over the past period, this type of MLRS has been successfully mastered by the personnel of a separate rocket artillery division.
Gulevich emphasized, that MLRS "Polonez-M", capable of hitting eight targets simultaneously with high accuracy at a distance of up to 300 kilometers, in some respects they have no analogues in the world. The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus congratulated the brigade personnel on receiving a new modernized complex with improved combat characteristics.
I'm sure, that the division’s military personnel will continue to worthily support the glorious combat traditions of missile warriors and increase the glory of older generations,” Gulevich added.
The development of a modernized version of the Polonaise MLRS began in 2016 year. AT 2017 year, live firing was carried out from the latest complex. As previously reported in the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus, within the framework of the implementation of the comprehensive system project “Fire weapons” in 2018 year, development work was successfully completed on the modernization and production of MLRS combat vehicles for the use of missiles with a range of up to 300 km. In the same year, the RK V300RK "Polonaise-M" was recommended for adoption by the Armed Forces of Belarus.
