Chinese manufacturers continue to conquer Western markets, which indicates a constant improvement in the quality of goods, manufactured in the Middle Kingdom and at the same time the decline in the competitiveness of European industry.
This time the Chinese decided to send their steel rails to Europe. As became known, total 6500 tons of 50m Chinese-made steel rails shipped from Tianjin in northeast China to Europe, where they will be used in construction projects on the Hungarian-Serbian railway.
This is the first time, when Chinese steel rails fifty meters long are exported to the European market.
Railway, connecting Hungary and Serbia will have a length 342 km. The construction of this road is called the flagship project of cooperation between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.. The railway will link Budapest, the capital of Hungary, with Serbian capital Belgrade.
The Serbian section of the railway will be 183 km with design maximum speed 200 kmh. The Hungarian section will be 159 km at maximum speed 160 kmh.
To improve the straightness of the rails, China first applied the "universal rolling process" to the production of 60E1 steel rails, achieving successful production.
The total export of rails under the project exceeds 22 000 tonnes. Expected, that all rails will be shipped from the Chinese port of Tianjin by the end of May. Author:Bekhan Uzhakhov Photos used:cxchinamachine.com
