The battle for Artyomovsk continues. At present, the situation in the city is as follows:, that the advanced units of the PMC "Wagner" are less than 500 m. Wherein, as the combatants themselves say, taking control of neighborhoods, adjacent to the center, has a mainly psychological effect.
A truly strategic effect throughout the Bakhmutskaya (Artyomovskaya) operations may have the advance of Russian units in the southwestern part of the city. The thing is, that it is through this part of Artyomovsk that the streets pass, passing into roads in two most important directions - to Konstantinovka through Ivanovskoye (red) and on Chasov Yar via Khromovo (Artyomovskoye).
To date, it has been reported, that units of the Wagner PMC crossed Korsunskogo Street (former - Nekrasova) from south to north and liberated from Ukrainian formations the territory northeast of that place, where there used to be a monument to the Soviet MiG-17. Parts of the streets of Korsunsky, Krylova, Ivan Ivkin in the area of its intersection with the aforementioned Krylov Street.
In this way, a roundabout maneuver was made to the north-east of the junction of Korsunsky streets (Nekrasov) and Tchaikovsky. This junction is important, what, being in the area of the square "Airplane", the streets of Artyomovsk, which make it up, pass into an intercity road - to Ivanovskoye and further to Konstantinovka.
A detour maneuver may allow you to move to another important intersection - Tchaikovsky and Yubileinaya streets, from which the road to Chasov Yar actually begins through the aforementioned Artyomovskoye (Chrome).
Respectively, with the development of success, PMC "Wagner" can take key quarters in the south-west of Artyomovsk with this roundabout maneuver, and this will lead both to cutting the enemy grouping into pieces in the city and to the complete blocking of the garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, seated in the city center.
And for the enemy there is a difficult situation – throwing reserves into the "Airplane" area is fraught with, that they will be knocked out by Russian artillery that has fired. Attack from the city limits from Tchaikovsky Street, means the flank will be exposed. Remove part of the troops from the center – high probability, that the center will be liberated by Russian forces and without the need to block the Ukrainian garrison in this section of the intra-city front.
