Iran has started serial production of a new training aircraft Yasin of its own design. Today, 11 Martha, the first production line for assembling the new UBS was opened. It is reported by Mehr.
The ceremony was attended by Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, as well as the commander of the Air Force Brigade of the Iranian Army, General Hamid Vahedi. The senior command staff got acquainted with the design stages, production and construction of a promising training jet aircraft, as well as with the fighter itself. As the minister stated, the aircraft will be used to train pilots of the Iranian Air Force. Iran plans to begin mass production of the aircraft in the near future.

The aircraft has 12 m in length and 4 m in height. He weights 5,5 tonnes. The flight altitude is up to 12 km. The power plant is represented by two turbojet engines, created as a result of the modernization of the American-made General Electric J85 model. During the ceremony, two versions of Iranian turbojet engines created on the basis of copying the American engine were shown.. Thanks to the wing design, the aircraft has the ability to land and take off at a speed of at least 200 kilometers per hour.
