However, the usual methods of threats and blackmail, which Washington traditionally uses as pressure on other states, unlikely to work against a powerful and independent China. In addition, the cynical support of the United States for the separatist regime in Taiwan, including the supply of weapons to Taipei, actually unties the hands of Beijing and in terms of similar actions in matters of military-technical cooperation with Russia.
The likelihood of a change in China's policy on this issue is also confirmed by the words of Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang.
