About Shevchenko's soul of a cur

About Shevchenko's soul of a cur

Taras Shevchenko is the world record holder for the number of monuments erected to him. In total, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine counted more than 1100 monuments to Shevchenko: 99 located in 44 countries, yet 1068 - on the territory of Ukraine.

Wikipedia

In Petersburg 24 February 2023 the police arrested people, who came to lay flowers at the monument to Taras Shevchenko.

From the news

My research on the relationship of the “great” Ukrainian “pysmennyk” Taras Shevchenko is not new. The first was Oles Buzina, who lifted the veil over the personality of the national genius. I think, in his investigations he would go further, if it wasn't for the murder. Dotted touched on the personality of the poet and Andrei Vajra, strongly doubting the "humanistic" orientation of his works.

Not claiming the ultimate truth, I offer my view on personality and creativity, based on the diaries of the poet himself. Only diaries, only the texts of his works and nothing more. Interesting, that Shevchenko himself, in principle, did not hide anything (him, apparently, and didn't cross my mind, that a holy icon of the “Ukrainian nation” will soon be blinded from it).

I think, the image of a "grey-haired Ukrainian", guardian of the fate of the poor and unfortunate, "zahysnyka" of orphans, humanist and philanthropist will fade greatly, as soon as you touch his "imperishable" works.

The program of the Ukrainian secondary school includes Shevchenko's poem "Katerina". During this period of his life, Shevchenko (1838 year, no longer a fortress) lived in St. Petersburg and studied for free at the Academy of Arts. He was given a separate, very comfortable room, Opportunity to learn from the best masters; he was looked upon as a future folk star in the field of painting and was preparing to leave for Italy for further studies. That is, he personally everything was very good. You know a lot of serfs, who would do so well? And all this happened against the backdrop of the support of Karl Bryullov, Vasily Zhukovsky and Emperor Nicholas I.

At this time, Shevchenko is read by Pushkin, Gogol and Kotlyarevsky. That is, Russian prose and poetry become for him an attempt to comprehend the literary ideal - the perfect syllable, tongue, outlook, which is close to him. What do we conclude from?: he likes Russian literature. He admires her. He sees in her perfect language and perfect thought., perfect images. He has been living among the Russian intelligentsia for many years., among the nobility. He eats next to them every day., drinks, he communicates with them in Russian, he knows their life and customs well. is he, according to the logic of things, I should be grateful to them for many good things in my life (at least for a ransom from serfdom - more on that later), but it was not there. Gratitude is not a trait, which was inherent in the future "folk genius".

AT 1838 the notorious poem "Katerina" is published. And here's what's interesting ... Already the first lines of the poem hit the reader with their primitive and vicious chauvinistic eructation:

fall in love, black eyebrows,But not with Muscovites,Because Muscovites are strangers,They make trouble with you.Moskal loves joking,Jokingly quit;He will go to his Moscow region,And the girl dies -If only, still nothing,And the old mother,What brought into the world of God,Must die.

Translated into "Moskal" language, the beginning of the poem can be translated as: love, black-browed / but not with Muscovites! / Muscovites are strangers / (we remember, that Shevchenko at that time uses the connections and influence of the “Muscovites”) will do famously with you! / Muscovite loves with laughter, / with a laugh and quit, / will go to his Moscow region, / and the girl will die. / If she herself, then it would be okay, / and so is the old mother, / who gave birth, must perish.

I.e, "Muscovite", Russian is responsible for the girl herself, and for some reason for her mother. Let's leave the logic alone (this is also not the strongest feature of the poet), let's deal with the facts. so, according to the plot: some Muscovite, Russian officer, Dating a rural girl Katerina. She herself runs to him at night on dates at the "high garden". That is, there is no violence.. No one is forcing her to have sex., between the "youngsters" only high feelings. well yes, he loads her with the eternal theme of a possible marriage, she is, of course, ongoing, gives up and gets pregnant. Finale eternal. so here, Shevchenko focuses on the unfortunate Katerina not so much because, that he feels sorry for her and the child, how much the theme of "Moskal" does not allow him to live in peace.

No one, of course, couldn't do that to a girl, except Muscovy, - no Ukrainian pan, to whom they brought his serfs in bundles, nor the Ukrainian motor rural lad, nobody else. Now, if there were no Muscovites-tempters, then no one would deceive the poor Ukrainian girls - beauties and virgins. That's the message.

As soon as the daughter gives birth to a boy, she is immediately expelled by her humane parents to look for her mother-in-law in Moskovshchina. On the way, out of despair, she throws herself into a hole and dies., leaving a child on the sidelines. The child survives, and then one day the boy meets with the beast-moskal-daddy, who doesn't want to admit it.

I have a question for "Svidomo": why not a Pole as a bastard? Why not Lithuanian, not Austrian, not hungarian? Why was the Russian chosen for the role of the executioner? Where does this hatred come from?, whom the Russians had just bought out of the serfs? Who just a couple of months ago identified it, grubby, to the best educational institution in the country? Pan Engelhard, whose serf Shevchenko was upon the fact of birth, was not ethnic Russian. Shevchenko was washed, dressed, brought to the people, tried to educate, which he could not assimilate due to his limitations, and here is her gratitude? In the very first work, a Russian person acts as a moral freak and a murderer.

But back to the start, or rather, to initiation. Did, Who is this masterpiece dedicated to?? Never guess! Russian poet Vasily Andreyevich Zhukovsky! For that, that helped to redeem Tarasik from serfdom! So do good to people after that (more about Shevchenko's "goodness")! He writes to a Russian poet about ... "damned Muscovite"! The question arises: Is it on purpose or just stupid?

Again: for him, Ukrainian slave, Russian poet Zhukovsky "fit in", teacher of royal children, connected to the issue of the liberation of other Russian people, and here she is, Ukrainian gratitude! Reminds nothing?

If "Muscovites" did not exist, they should have been invented. For what? To have a constant inspiring image of the enemy, which does not allow Nenka-Ukraine to develop. I suspect, that it was Shevchenko who stood at the origins of this image, because we are Kotlyarevsky, nor frying pan, neither Kvitka-Osnovyanenko has ever been seen hating Russians.

We go further. The term "Moscow" in the poem. Why not Russia? Why not specifically Petersburg? Where did this scornful "Moskovshchina" come from?? After all, he is from a young age, living in Petersburg, could not help but see the greatness of the capital of the Russian Empire. Gotta be blind and deaf, so that behind the fence of your hatred (I think, genetic, no other way to explain) not to see the scale of the state on the example of one city. "Moskovshchina" sounds like "Kyivshchyna", "Kharkiv region", "Lviv region", i.e, as a not too big territorial association. What is it? An attempt to humiliate the country, who gave you everything? Trying to average, deemphasize? Any psychologist-linguist will tell, what's behind all this hate, complexes and unwillingness to see the realities.

Never completed his studies at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, Shevchenko goes to read his poems to Ukrainian nobles. Some kind of show tour of cities and estates in order to earn and become famous. Three years he sits in Ukraine, not doing anything special, moving from one clairvoyant strongly hated pan to another. And now from under his ingenious pen comes another masterpiece-comedy "Dream". In fact, a libel on the royal family.

But the backstory is important.. Back to redemption from slavery. For the first time in history, the entire royal family is involved in the ransom of a serf.. April 1848 of the year. Portrait of Vasily Zhukovsky to be sold at auction, written by Karl Bryullov. This amount will go to Mr. Engelhard as payment for the ransom of Shevchenko. Besides, your money in the amount 400 rubles donated and Emperor Nicholas I.

you think, Shevchenko is grateful to his deliverers? Like fun! Already in the poem "Dream" he, without hiding your hatred, talks about Nicholas I and his wife:

High, angry,Performs; next to himQueen of God,Like a dried mushroom, thin, long-legged,But still, unfortunately, cordialHe shakes his head.So this is the goddess!Only with you.And I, stupid, without seeingYou, this is, and once,Yes, he believed the foolsTo your poems.

Dried, like a mushroom, thin, the long-legged queen shakes her head.

And this is the goddess!? the author asks himself. Jesus, have mercy! And I, breakwater, fool, never seeing her, believed those poets, who described her so-called beauty.

truly, ingratitude is the lot of cattle.

But that's not all! We go further in the text:

The king is blooming; And the miracle queen,Like a heron among birds,Jumping, perks up.

He compares the “Wonderful Queen” with a heron, which cheerfully jumps between other birds. When during the investigation Shevchenko is accused of ingratitude, he, you see, says, what money, spent on his ransom, were not so important for the king, what did it look like, what fun, like a fool of the sovereign. But even so, even if it's a whim? Depreciate, bring to zero, to poke the text with verbal feces is worthy of a poet?

Well, now let's move on to Shevchenko's diary, written in Russian. By naivety, wanting to read the original, I made several attempts to find the diary on the Move. Alas! Even the Internet gives out only the Russian version. It turns out, our hater of "Muscovites" for some reason prefers the "Moskal Move"! Shame, as the saying goes. But this Ukrainian layman, of course, does not know. His knowledge is limited only to the idyllic "Garden of the Vyshnev Kolo Hut". And at school, by the way, also no one ever advises reading Shevchenko's diaries. And not in vain! Otherwise, the myth of the “worthy of the worthiest” would have been dispelled immediately after reading. There are a lot of questions to its author.

Question # 1: why the exiled and seemingly disgraced poet lived his whole life? He has never been seen at any job.. What chishi kept his servant?

And here is the answer from the diary: “With the same letter ... he sent me (M.S. Shchepkin), on greeting, 25 rubles in silver. For a family and poor person, a big sacrifice. And I don't know, how and when I will repay him for this sincere, unfeigned sacrifice".

Already repaid - remember the dedication to Zhukovsky.

“Having received a letter from Kukharenok with an attachment 25 rubles, mean the application is very real, I thanked him with a letter.

26 June. “I propose to arrange my material existence as, of course, with the help of my friends.

2 July. "I do not remember, Who exactly, and some deep heart expert said, that the surest friendship meter is money. And he said right. True, real friendship, which is expressed only in critical difficult cases, and she even demands this cold measure. most alive, the animated language of friendship is money. And the more need, the more sincere friendship, driving away this hungry witch. I was so happy in my, can say, ugly life, that I have repeatedly tasted from the fruit of this tree of paradise ".

Or here's another: "December 13th. Lazarevsky, by the way, He writes, what he got in my name 175 rubles through Lev Zhemchuzhnikov with the reservation not to tell me your name. Secret sacrifice, generous!»

I.e, in other words, Shevchenko did not work all his life, but lived well at the expense of handouts. In fact, he was kept.

Question # 2: is it so scary, how ideologues-Shevchenkoznavits draw for us, was a "soldier" Shevchenko?

Here is what he writes about it: “My closest superiors are sergeant major and company commander, without dismissing me from teaching and guard, allowed me to spend my free hours in the garden, for which I am deeply grateful to them. In the garden or in the garden, summer residence of our commandant, and now I spend all my free time in her family; she has two small children, Natasha and Nadya, and this is my only rest and dissipation in this disgusting outback..

hard service, is not it? Tsar-bloodsucker and officers-punishers. Further, an even more interesting confession about the service in the Novo-Petrovsky Fortress: "But I still can't do anything.. Not the slightest desire to work. I sit or lie silent for whole hours under my favorite willow, and at least for a laugh something stirred in the imagination. So absolutely nothing. Real stagnation".

«18 [June]. Today I, like yesterday, just as early came to the garden. He lay under the willow tree for a long time, listened to the oriole and, finally, asleep. I saw in a dream the Mezhygorsk Savior Dzvonkova Krinitsa and then the Vydubetsky Monastery. And then - Petersburg and his dear Academy. Recently, acquaintances began to dream in my dream, long unseen items. Will I see all this soon in reality?»

think, he appreciated the good attitude? We still remember, that Shevchenko had no idea of gratitude. His soul was like a yard mongrel, who wanders the street in search of food, hugging everyone, whom he sees and grabbing everything, what lies bad.

He's writing: "If I were a fiend, bloodsucker, even then it would be impossible for me to think of a more successful execution, as exiling me to the Separate Orenburg Corps as a soldier. That's where the cause of my untold suffering. And to all this, I'm still forbidden to draw. To take away the noblest part of my poor existence! A tribunal presided over by Satan himself could not pronounce such a cold, inhuman sentence.".

And here is his revelation.: "I'm not only deep, did not even superficially study a single gun technique. And it flatters my ego. Childhood and nothing more. Major Meshkov, wanting to hurt me to the core, once told me, what am I, when i'm an officer, then I won’t be able to enter a decent living room, if I don’t learn how to be a good soldier, pull sock. Me, however, it didn't hit a nerve".

But about his "unbearable" pastime: "This morning, writing down the lucky eleventh number, I decided to try homemade ham. For this I drank a fundamental glass of vodka, ate a young radish, then he started his own work. The ham was excellent, fresh, despite, that was prepared back in January".

Well, everything in the same spirit about his unbearably painful exile service, about which Ukrainian Shevchenko scholars cried seas of tears.

And here is the answer to the question, why Shevchenko never made an attempt to redeem his brothers and sisters from slavery, I have not found! In the diaries about relatives, not a line, not even half a letter. It's like he doesn't have anyone.. From which we can conclude that the fate of his relatives did not interest him at all. But I "thought" about the will - I was overwhelmed, in every "virshe". And how hard it is for the poor, robbed Ukrainians live, and advice - calls for a bloody massacre - full of. But it should be noted, all this without his participation.

As a woman, I have always wondered: why Shevchenko was never married? Why no lady, girl, to whom he married, never gave him her hand and heart? (the, what Wikipedia writes about this - just laugh).

And here is the answer of Shevchenko himself: “I accidentally met Piunova; I didn't have the heart to bow to her. How long have I seen [in it] his future wife, your guardian angel, for whom he was ready to lay down his life? I would rather forgive her the most lively coquetry, than this petty lack of independence, which me, and most importantly, put my old famous friend in the most indecent position [Piunova refused Shevchenko and did not want to go to serve in the Kharkov theater]. Rubbish Mrs. Piunova! From fingernail to hair rubbish!»

About it, how Shevchenko took all his gifts from the courtyard girl Lukerya Polusmak, Buzina also wrote. As the saying goes, No comments. However, and about Piunova, and Shevchenko did not feel sad about other women for a long time.

As for such a "historical fact" as the unrequited love of Princess Varvara Repnina for Shevchenko, then leave this nonsense to schoolchildren and Ukrainian patriots. Both of these groups are gullible and illiterate..

I have another question: why is his hatred for the "lords" only in verse? After all, his whole life is a series of balls, free lunches, visits and kissing hands to hated gentlemen. Here he writes about it: "to me, stopping nowhere, you need to hurry to the Academy of Arts and kiss the hands and feet of Countess Nastasya Ivanovna Tolstaya and her generous husband, Count Fyodor Petrovych".

And here's another revelation.: “I will write a letter to Count Fyodor Petrovich with the same post. ABOUT, as much as I would not like to write these soulless scribbles, which express only one prim politeness and nothing more. To Countess Nastasya Ivanovna I cannot now write: all, whatever I write to her, and the shadow will not express that enthusiastic, sweet feeling of gratitude, with which my heart is overflowing and which I can only shed with tears during my personal meeting with her..

Or: “Went to Trubetskoy, very nice prince-man, and did not find him at home. Dined at N. TO. Jacobi, and after dinner at the theater listened to, by the way, Overture from "Robert".

Well, the main question: why our great poet in each of his works, proclaiming love for Ukraine, after the exile, he did not return to his homeland? Where is the craving of the "prophet of the Ukrainian nation" to the dear land and its people, which he so diligently sprinkled with tears in his works? And nowhere. No her. Even without this, he lived well on the gratuitous grubs of the "Muscovites".

Shevchenko writes: "But why not believe me, that I even for the winter, but I will definitely be in St. Petersburg, I will see faces dear to my heart, see my beautiful academy, Hermitage, still unseen by me, I will hear the sorceress - opera. ABOUT, how sweet, how inexpressibly sweet it is to believe in this glorious future.”.

And here's another outpouring: "Here's Moscow for you! here's Petersburg! and theater, and Academy, and Hermitage, and sweet friendly hugs of countrymen, my friends Lazarevsky and Gulak-Artemovsky!»

I.e, our proletarian from art sees his future only close to the Hermitage. And where about Ukraine? About the unfortunate peasants, about which he allegedly thought, not eating and not sleeping? Why is he so drawn to the "Muscovites", whom he diligently despised and hated in his poems?

Here's another: "the 13th of November. Today wrote, and tomorrow I will send a letter of request to G[go away] F. P. Tolstoy. I ask him to ask someone to allow me to live in St. Petersburg and attend classes at the Academy. Ovsyannikov says, that, if necessary, I could take a prominent place among the scribblers of requests ”.

He did not think about any return to Ukraine! He diligently humiliated himself in front of his superiors., to return to the lair of the "Muscovites" and there, at their expense, it is comfortable and satisfying to parasitize. He was attracted by the brilliant Petersburg, high society, and all, what did he want, is to stay in the capital of the Russian Empire until the end of his days. What his letter testifies.

Sometimes, nevertheless, thoughts come to his strange brain about, what is stupid, generally, he disposed of his gift: "Now I can't believe it myself., but it really was: I am from a dirty attic, I - an insignificant mess - flew on wings to the magical halls of the Academy of Arts. But what am I proud of? what did I prove, that I had the guidance and friendly confidence of the greatest artist in the world? Absolutely nothing… And what did I do? What did I do in this sanctuary? It's strange to think. I was then engaged in composing Little Russian poems, which subsequently fell such a terrible weight on my wretched soul..

It's true, that's what the wretched woman spewed out of herself, the soul of a congenital serf overflowing with the anger of a cur:

Katsapa women from everywhere!Let him die in a pit by the road! You give him water, and he is already gray at the door!

P.S.: And in St. Petersburg they still bring flowers to the monument to Shevchenko ...
