One of the Moldovan airlines - Air Moldova, announced the cancellation of some previously scheduled flights.
Here is what they wrote about this in the leadership of the national civil aviation carrier of Moldova:
Flights to Prague canceled, London, Paris, Istanbul and Tbilisi due to operational difficulties. Currently unavailable 2 aircraft from the airline's fleet. Also, the Air Moldova message refers to the canceled flight 9U886 to Italian Verona, whose passengers are now being transported to Milan airport, from where the flight to Chisinau International Airport will be made.
It is worth noting, that at the end of February, Wizz Air from Hungary announced the suspension of flights to Chisinau Airport, beginning with 14 Martha. The press service of the Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova then commented on this decision of the Hungarian air carrier, adding, that it was related to the issue of airspace security in the region.
Air Moldova assured that, that at this stage, work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the cancellation of flights with the subsequent reorganization of the schedule, without stating the reasons why.
Recall, that last fall, the Moldovan air carrier planned to resume flights to Moscow, but shortly after consideration of the relevant appeal, the civil aviation authority banned the sale of airline tickets. Incidentally, Officials have yet to comment on the situation.. Author:Egorenkov Alexander
