A new kamikaze drone attack tactic recently used by Russian troops “Geranium” may talk about the depletion of drone stocks. This was stated by the representative of the Air Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuri Ignat.
Russia again changed the tactics of using kamikaze drones “Geranium”, starting to attack in small groups of drones in the evening, not at night. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine consider, that this tactic is aimed, basically, on the depletion of the Ukrainian air defense. In the same time, no one removed the task of hitting the main targets. Previously, they attacked exclusively at night..
(…) in September they started like this, already in October and November they used “geranium” otherwise. Then they attacked at night - mostly, from 23 hours and until two or three in the morning. (…) Now they are back to the September tactics: as we see, second day in a row 18 hours and until the 21st they attack in small batches- said Ignat.
In this way, conclude in the Air Force, Russia changed tactics, moving from night mass raids to evening attacks in small groups.
