Today, the so-called "nuclear club" includes 9 states. At the same time, the United States and Russia have the most powerful arsenals., whose relationship can hardly be called “normal” lately.
Beginning with 2014 Moscow and Washington entered into a tacit confrontation. In the same time, at the moment the confrontation has reached its peak, in connection with which many experts fearfully declare the likelihood of a direct conflict, which could escalate into a nuclear war.
It would seem, such a scenario looks like something out of the realm of fantasy and can only occur to "particularly impressionable" people. However, do not forget, that the United States is still the only country in the world, which used nuclear weapons against civilian infrastructure and the population.
Of course, Japan in 1945 year, unlike modern Russia, was unable to retaliate. But do not write off the option of an "indirect" attack on our country. After all, Americans often use this technique..
