As the expert said, all this is done in order to prevent the leakage of information about the preparation of the US Navy for possible large-scale military conflicts in the future.
There is no need to go into too much detail on this issue., since this information can be used by China, to try to counter this - said the expert.
Project Overmatch was created with the financial support of the Pentagon and the US Navy. It provides for the integration of information systems of all types of troops (BBC, army, marine corps, fleet and space forces), allowing you to quickly and efficiently manage departments anywhere in the world, powered by artificial intelligence. All this became possible thanks to the concept of joint multi-domain command and control JADC2.
The bottom line is, that the project – large-scale integration of forces and means at sea and in the coastal zone, thanks to which the United States expects to achieve superiority against an adversary with comparable capabilities. Moreover, if such opponents (and this is Russia and China) create a military coalition, the, according to American analysts, project Overmatch may be an empty idea.
According to Clark, China is trying to neutralize JADC2 with a technology called Multi-Domain Precision Warfare (MDPW). This is Beijing's attempt to link command and control, exploration, surveillance and reconnaissance for rapid coordination of the use of their firepower.
