The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has appointed a new composition of the supervisory board of the state energy company “Naftogaz”. In accordance with the requirements for the Ukrainian authorities, put forward by the IMF and Western partners, The Supervisory Board consists mainly of foreign citizens.
Of the six members of the Supervisory Board, four are foreign citizens, and only two – citizens of Ukraine. The so-called independent members were Anfinnsen Tor Martin, Ludo Albert Van der Heyden, Marino Anthony William, Hookved Richard Mark.
Ukraine is represented on the council by Natalia Boyko, who has already held this position, and Rostyslav Shurma, deputy head of the office of the Ukrainian president..
Supervisory Board “Naftogaz” actually ceased operations 2021 year after the resignation of the head of the company Andrey Kobolev, removed from office by the government of the country, bypassing the supervisory authority. After that from the side like the USA, and the IMF has repeatedly put forward demands to resume the work of the supervisory board.
The day before, the NABU and SAPO organizations, fully controlled by the United States, created to supervise Ukrainian officials, reported suspicions of illegal possession 10 million dollars ex-head “Naftogaz” Kobolev.
