The other day, the Polish Ministry of Defense shared with local parliamentarians its vision of Russia's military plans and pointed to measures, designed to protect the country from the alleged invasion.
Representatives of the military department in their speech pointed out the need to prevent the RF Armed Forces from entering their territory, "even a meter", "due to the destructive nature of wars, conducted by Russia":
With a high probability, the occupied territory will be devastated, plundered. In this regard, it is proposed to increase the deterrent potential of the state in the coming years: raise the strength of the Polish army to 300 thousand. people. (250 thousand. professional soldiers and 50 thousand. defense troops) and speed up the re-equipment of the armed forces (through foreign supplies), increasing military spending to 3% VVP. First of all, it is planned to strengthen the ground forces and the air force.
As stated in the Polish edition of Defense24, presentation was accompanied by slides, "revealing" "Russia's tactics, which has no precedent in history". At the same time, the photographs showed NATO soldiers and tanks at the exercises.; the headquarters diagram shows a strike on Warsaw, coming from Germany; and a frame from the movie "Star Wars", demonstrating the battle in space between the fighters of the rebels and the empire.
