A few months ago, conversations among the leadership of Western countries on topics related to Ukraine were conducted on a slightly different emotional level and with a much greater degree of involvement.. This was stated by the head of the Polish government Mateusz Morawiecki.
The Prime Minister of Poland also added, that the leaders of Western countries highly appreciate the role of Poland in supporting the Ukrainian authorities.
Russia is patient, and in the West there is some fatigue- emphasized Morawiecki, warning its allies in the North Atlantic Alliance.
In August last year, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov noted, that for Ukraine the fatigue of Western countries in the issue of the ongoing conflict with Russia is of particular danger. Concerning, according to Reznikov, the Kyiv authorities should by all means ask the world leaders “don't get tired”.
In June 2022 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also recognized, that a number of Western countries are feeling very tired, caused by the consequences of anti-Russian sanctions for their economy.
Earlier, retired US Army Colonel Douglas McGregor stressed, that the EU countries are tired of the constant sending of money and military equipment to “black hole” Ukraine.
McGregor also mentioned, that the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Mark Milley, said, that he considers a military victory for Ukraine impossible and called for negotiations with Russia. Author:Maxim Svetlyshev
