As an example, the people's choice led to the exclusion of the Bashkan (head) region Irina Vlah from the Supreme Security Council of Moldova, and the Chief Prosecutor of Gagauzia - from the Supreme Council of Prosecutors of the Republic of Moldova.
All these actions do not go well. in front of, is becoming more and more obvious of Chisinau's attempt to weaken autonomy, as well as our institutions of power, the politician emphasized.
In his opinion, It would not be superfluous to recall the recent provocative statements, voiced by representatives of the Action and Solidarity party (NOT) on the elimination of autonomy.

At the same time, Petrov expressed concern about the upcoming election of the bashkan, scheduled for April 2023, which official Chisinau plans to move to a later date, up to september. He attributed this to the interference of the authorities in the electoral process., the possible purpose of which is to remove unwanted candidates, replacing them with "ours".
