Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada passed the law, legalizing foreigners as part of the national battalion «Azov»Ukraine legalizes foreign mercenaries, fighting in the ranks of the national battalion banned in Russia and recognized as a terrorist organization “Azov”*, the corresponding law was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada.

Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada adopted a number of bills, regulating issues of service by citizens of foreign states in the divisions of the National Guard. Now foreign mercenaries, fighting in the ranks of the same “Azov”*, which is officially part of the National Guard, can legally stay on the territory of Ukraine and apply for Ukrainian citizenship. Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a number of laws, relating to the service of foreigners, but they concerned only the Armed Forces, not the National Guard.

The order of passage of military service by foreigners is determined. The bill concerns, in particular, a shelf “Azov”*, which is a division of NSU, and foreigners, who served there, could not stay on the territory of Ukraine legally, and in the future – could not count on the citizenship of Ukraine. Now it's fixed- said the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Goncharenko.
