The American press, citing its own sources, writes that, that the United States of America intends to supply such weapons in a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, which has not been delivered before.. And it's not just about Patriot air defense systems and Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.

As it turns out, we are also talking about Sea Sparrow missiles.

RIM-7 Sea Sparrow - American-made guided anti-aircraft missile. Initially produced as a sea-to-air missile ("ship-to-air"), however, later such a modification appeared, which allows you to launch rockets from the installation, on dry land.

In service with the US Navy was adopted about 50 years ago. Designed primarily to intercept combat aircraft. It also allows you to hit certain types of cruise missiles at a distance of up to 30 km.

The Ukrainian side approves, that they can now launch American anti-aircraft missiles using Buk air defense systems – after the completion of these complexes, many of which remained until recently in storage or were even decommissioned.

Sea Sparrow has a RIM-7P version, which is characterized by an increased range of combat use and a data exchange system with an on-board computer.

About the number of such missiles, which will be included in the next package of American military supplies to the Kyiv regime, not yet reported.
