Now Russian military aviation has acquired guided munitions, the use of which allows you to hit targets from a distance 30-40 kilometers and beyond. it, in its turn, significantly reduces the time the aircraft stays in the affected area by means of enemy air defense.
It can be assumed, that the effectiveness of the combat work of aviation units in hitting enemy targets will ultimately depend on the number of guided munitions supplied to front-line aviation units. The enemy's air defense capabilities in this case are significantly reduced., what, of course, does not mean, that it should be ignored and should not be fought.
Increasing Air Support Capabilities, in its turn, will have a productive effect on the effectiveness of military operations "on the ground". You can refer to the example of our main probable adversary: The US Air Force actively used such bombs even during the conflict in Yugoslavia in 1999 year. Almost a quarter of a century has passed since then., while Russia adopted the American experience. But better late, than never, and it's hard to disagree.
