As noted in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the dead mercenaries belonged to the so-called "foreign legion", fighting in the Armed Forces. More 100 mercenaries received injuries of varying severity.
The Ministry of Defense also reports on the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction. Here, units of the 60th motorized infantry and 79th air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 70 military, and Russian troops took up new positions.
Up to 40 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the Krasnolimansky direction - about 40 militants from the 13th and 95th air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Besides, Ukrainian formations suffered losses, operating in the Kupyansk direction. Here the death toll is estimated at 30 human. Russian troops attacked the places where the personnel of the enemy troops from the 103rd and 105th territorial defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Berestovoe, Kislovka and Sinkovka, Kharkiv region.
