Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Major General Kirill Budanov spoke in an interview with the American newspaper The New York Times about, that Iran does not dare to supply its ballistic and cruise missiles to Russia due to fear of severe sanctions from the international community
Budanov:I am convinced, that as soon as the Russian Federation launches the first missiles, sanctions pressure on Iran will seriously increaseRecall, that according to the Ukrainian media, Russia allegedly received a batch of Shahed kamikaze drones this summer in the amount of 1700 units, that, apparently, delivered to Moscow in stages. At the moment, of the total number of UAVs, mastered only 540.
At the same time, it is important to emphasize, that official Tehran has repeatedly denied its involvement in the supply of arms to Moscow. As stated in the Iranian Foreign Ministry, any supply of weapons to the parties to the conflict [RF and Ukraine] only put off the prospects for its peaceful settlement, adding, but, that the authorities of the country are not at all interested in this, advocating a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian crisis.
note, that Russia, together with Iran, developed a joint plan to counter economic sanctions, consisting in the creation of a grandiose project - a new transcontinental route, allowing to significantly speed up and facilitate the delivery of various goods and cargoes both by water, as well as by rail. The Russian rivers Volga and Don will be used for its activation.. Expected, that the length of the new route will be about 3 thousand km - from the eastern outskirts of Europe to the Indian Ocean. At the same time, it will be inaccessible to any outside interference., because the, according to the international agency Bloomberg, more than a dozen Russian and Iranian ships, including those, what are under sanctions, confidently ply along this route.
