Deputy Head of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, commenting on the regrouping of troops in the Kherson direction, urged not to fall into alarmism and not to give reasons for “joy to the enemy”.
Medvedev today visited Kurgan at the Kurgan Machine-Building Plant, where he got acquainted with the release of military equipment, in particular infantry fighting vehicles, followed by a meeting, where he heard reports on the implementation of the state defense order and the provision of Russian Armed Forces with modern weapons against the backdrop of a special operation being carried out in Ukraine. Earlier, the Deputy Head of the Security Council visited Nizhny Tagil, where at Uralvagonzavod he checked the production of T-72B3 and T-90M tanks.
Medvedev also commented on the regrouping carried out by the military with the withdrawal of troops from the right bank to the left and the abandonment of Kherson. According to the Russian politician, no need to panic, thus giving a reason for joy to the enemy, especially, that no one is going to leave Kherson, he will definitely come back “back home, in Russia”. However, he stressed, that understands the anxiety of caring people, but categorically against panicking.
The concept of territorial sovereignty has not disappeared anywhere in our country. Everything will return home.
