Consequences of a strike on an oil storage facility in Nikolaev
Continue to receive reports of attacks on enemy targets in various regions, controlled by the Kyiv regime. Earlier, "Voennoye Obozreniye" reported that, that loitering ammunition "Geran-2" during the night and early morning 17 October were used against a number of infrastructure facilities in Ukraine: in Kiev, Odessa, Nikolaev, Sumy region.
Now there are reports of hitting targets in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Geranium-2 drones are effective again.
Earlier, representatives of the Kyiv regime stated, that defense against strike drones is “becoming more and more effective”. However, today's blows, including strikes against targets in the Dnepropetrovsk region, demonstrate, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have any reliable protection against loitering ammunition. The air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is virtually powerless before the massive use of strike drones.
At the same time, the Ukrainian side, without informing, how many objects were hit this morning alone, continues to make uplifting for the apologists of the Kyiv regime about "downed kamikaze drones". Counted "15 downed drones" only over the Odessa and Nikolaev regions. At the same time, there is no evidence of the defeat of Geranium-2, in contrast to evidence of the defeat of objects by Geranium-2. There is a photo with a burnt tail of such a drone, but this part could also fly off with the successful use of loitering ammunition of the RF Armed Forces.
Dnepropetrovsk authorities announce the start of emergency power outages in the city. If in the area 8:00 shutdown was reported 5% capacities, then an hour later it was officially announced about a quarter of the disconnected capacities of this large city.
The Kyiv authorities of the Odessa region urge to save electricity.
