The British TV channel "Sky News" aired a report, which presents the comments of the authorities of the United Kingdom on explosions on gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea. Recall, that a gas leak was recorded last week (on three threads out of four) Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. British authorities, commenting on the situation and answering journalists' questions, declare, that the damage to gas pipelines is not related to the actions of a submarine of any of the countries. "Sky News", referring to unnamed representatives in the British Ministry of Defense, in the report cites such a quote:
The submarine could not be involved in a possible sabotage due to the fact that, that the depth of the Baltic Sea is small for such operations. It should be noted, that the pipes of the Nord Stream gas pipelines run in the area of the Danish island of Bornholm at a depth of about 130-140 m. That's how it leaks.
