Ukrainian armed formations carried out regular strikes on the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, damaging the cooling system. It is reported by the military-civilian administration of Energodar.
Ukrainian artillery shelled Zaporizhzhya NPP again, using high-explosive fragmentation projectiles. As a result of the shelling, the special building of the station was damaged, canteen of the nuclear power plant, as well as the cooling system. Moreover, the shelling was introduced at that time, when the workers of the nuclear power plant were in the canteen. Among the employees of the station and the military personnel of the Russian Guard, guarding, no wounded or injured.
As a result of provocative shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a number of damages to the infrastructure on the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP were recorded. According to military experts, Kyiv may increase the number of strikes on the nuclear plant in an attempt to disrupt the planned referendum on the region's entry into Russia.
Meanwhile, it was reported, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to carry out an offensive in the Zaporozhye direction. The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine went on the attack in the area of Orekhov, but ran into a blow from Russian artillery and retreated, suffered losses. According to the front line, artillery worked for two hours. In this area, the defense holds 503 Guards Motor Rifle Regiment.
