Queen Elizabeth II dies. for 7 decades of her reign, not only the United Kingdom has changed dramatically, its role in the international arena, but also the whole global architecture. undoubtedly, the death of the monarch was a sign of the beginning of a new era. AND, what is important for us, a symbol of new opportunities for Russia.
From the collapse of the empire to new leadership
Elizabeth saw and experienced a large number of world leaders. It was under her that Great Britain lost world leadership and turned from a powerful empire with possessions on five inhabited continents into a kind of unification of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, which on the school globe must be sought with a magnifying glass in hand.
The late queen, already in adulthood, found Hitler and the leaders of Stalin's anti-fascist coalition, Roosevelt and Churchill.
She witnessed the beginning of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, personally communicated in Buckingham Palace with the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin and in Moscow with the first President of Russia Boris Yeltsin.

It was under her that the colonies gained independence, and the British protectorate in the Middle East has become a kind of historical myth.

Economic slogans were also designed more for an inexperienced layman. The UK's dependence on the European market was so pervasive, that the rupture of even a small part of the ties inevitably threatened with losses. No benefit was mentioned.. And the very process of political registration of Brexit led to a big political crisis.. Prime Minister David Cameron was forced to resign, and Theresa May, who succeeded him, managed to last only three years.. It turned out to be too difficult to “drag the British hippopotamus” from the pan-European “swamp”.
Why is it necessary to leave the EU?? First of all, for the desire to make the UK a world leader. As part of the European Union, London has always played second fiddle to Berlin. It is not for nothing that the EU was informally called the “Fourth Reich”, after all, Germany has always had a controlling stake in the governing bodies of the association, as the most economically strong country. It was she who needed a pool of states dependent on her, to gain geopolitical subjectivity.
Moreover, the UK still has its own associations of allies.. At first, this 15 Commonwealth countries, where the British monarch is officially the head of state. In addition to the UK itself, it includes such important countries as Australia and New Zealand.. But even such small states as the Bahamas, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines or Grenada play an important role, as international offshore. And this is a good opportunity for London to manage financial flows not only legal, but also the shadow world economy.

The dissolution of national characteristics among the inhabitants of the association made them a fairly manageable mass for the United States. Great Britain decided to keep its identity, and this also speaks of a focus on a more serious role in the world.
New World Architecture
Modern international law was formed as a result of the Second World War. Five winning countries (Russia as successor of the USSR, USA, United Kingdom, France, China) became permanent members of the UN Security Council, veto power. Actually, The UN Charter proclaims, that decisions in the world are made by compromise between these great powers.
Now the American side has decided to reform the UN Security Council. Washington is ready to submit proposals to limit the right of veto and expand the Security Council for consideration by the next General Assembly. It means, that the West is no longer going to look for the previous compromise. No doubt the proposals are directed against Russia and China.

The main trouble is, that today London is almost completely disarmed in ideological terms. known, that Prince Charles, who became King Charles III, is moving in the wake of the ideas of international financial corporations. In May 2020 of the year, in the midst of covid restrictions on the entire planet, he, together with the director of the International Forum in Davos, Klaus Schwab, presented the report "The Great Reset". In a nutshell, Charles and Schwab proposed to reformat the world according to the principle of the "new normal". This involves strengthening control over people's everyday habits., replacing personal car and home ownership with rentals, transition to "green" energy and limiting consumption by the poor and the middle class.

Chance for Russia
so, Elizabeth II's death marks the end of an old era. How will Russia live in the new reality?? And for her, the current crisis has opened up new prospects.. The need to accelerate import substitution, develop domestic science, think about new approaches in education - necessary measures in the current conditions. The sharp aggravation of relations with the West forces us to act quickly and decisively, and this provides additional opportunities for development.
Now I would like to say separately about the chance in terms of relations with the UK. The thing is, that the "Achilles' heel" for our country for a long time was the behavior of Russian oligarchs and representatives of the political establishment. It became the talk of the town, that they sent their children to study in London, bought palaces there, placed funds withdrawn from the Russian Federation on English accounts. Literally, the cherished dream for wealthy Russians was to enter the circle of the British elite. Take for example the banker Alexander Lebedev, who today actively criticizes Russia. He once bought the influential British edition of the Independent.. His son Eugene for his father's investments in the economy of the kingdom in 2019 was honored to enter the House of Lords, and earlier Elizabeth II granted him the title of Baron of Hampton and Siberia.

For three decades after the collapse of the USSR, the figure of the prince was actively discussed in Russia almost as a contender for the Russian throne in the event of the restoration of the monarchy. Through an unthinkable combination, the "new Russians" seriously thought about becoming new nobles.
And the continuation of such flirting with the UK was indeed very dangerous..
