New ultra-long-range large-caliber ORSIS rifle chambered for 12.7×99 NATO has been tested and is ready for serial production. The rifle will be presented at the international military-technical forum “Army-2022”.
Company “Promtehnolohyya” (ORSIS), announced last year the development of a new large-caliber rifle for hitting targets at a distance 2 km, fulfilled its promise and has already completed all the necessary weapons testing. As previously stated by the company, a new rifle is being created under the universal NATO cartridge .50 BMG (Browning Machine Gun 12,7 × 99 mm), tests of a prototype large-caliber rifle were supposed to start at the beginning of this year. weapon, Firstly, focused on foreign market, but Russian law enforcement agencies are already interested in them.
