Deputy Spokesman for the UN Secretary General Farhan Haq said at a briefing yesterday, that the international organization is concerned about the shelling of the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka, but do not yet have first-hand information.

The US military went even further. A senior Pentagon official admitted, that the blow could have been delivered by Ukrainian forces, but considers, that the APU did it unintentionally.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine categorically deny involvement in the shelling of the colony. They think, that all this is a provocation of Russia, which in this way tries to hide the torture of prisoners and "executions, carried out on the orders of the occupation administration and the Russian command". Besides, curled in the Ukrainian General Staff, Russia went to this provocation, in order to then blame the Kyiv authorities for their deeds.
According to the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, Kyiv regime seeks to solve two problems, killing their former militants - to intimidate active servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and prevent nationalists from testifying to the investigating authorities.
